What does deleting my account mean?

Deleting your account permanently means that all your ads and balance will be removed. You will not be able to register again with the same number or recover any previous ads or balance.

How can I purchase credit in the app?

You can purchase credit through the app’s agents or by making a direct payment via KNET.

The amount was deducted twice via KNET for the same ad, what should I do?

The amount was deducted from my bank account, but the credit was not added/the ad did not appear. What should I do?

  • Wait for 30 minutes and check if the credit has been added or the ad appears in “My Listings.”

  • KNET payment records are updated every 30 minutes.

What is free credit, and how can I use it?

Every user receives 3 KWD of free credit monthly, based on their registration date. The free credit can be used in sections that accept free ads or to highlight your ad. Note that the duration of a free ad is 10 days.

Why doesn’t my monthly free ad credit appear?

  • Check your registration date.

  • If multiple numbers are registered on the same device, the free credit is granted to only one number.

  • Make sure you’re using an original version of the operating system.

Why do package prices vary?

Package prices depend on the availability of featured spots and the level of demand. Prices may decrease when there are no available spots for featuring, as those costs won’t be added to the package price, and vice versa.

Post Listings

How can I post a commercial listing as a company or individual?

You can contact customer service through live support in the app or by calling 1844474 during official working hours.

How can I post a classified listing on the app?

  • Click on Post Ad.

  • Select the category (main section).

  • Select the sub-category (the section where you want to post your ad).

  • Choose the location (governorate + area).

  • Write the ad title (e.g., Mercedes car for sale).

  • Enter the price.

  • Add photos (from 1 to 11) and a free 20-second video (the number of photos allowed varies by section).

  • Complete the required fields (marked with a red asterisk *).

  • Add additional details (description + alternative contact numbers, if any).

  • Choose a payment package.

  • You can add optional features to your ad such as pinning, highlighting, or search pinning, etc.

  • The total cost of the ad will appear at the bottom of the page.

  • Click Upload Ad.

How can I post an ad in the (Car Dealerships / Real Estate / Electronics / Car Rental) sections?

Why can’t I post an ad in the Grocery or Laundry sections?

Ads in these sections are managed and published by the administration only. You can contact the management to request ad publication.

How can I edit or delete my ad?

  • To edit: My Account → My Listings → Select the ad → Edit/Settings (Edit Your Ad), make the required changes, and complete the process.

  • To delete: My Account → My Listings → Select the ad → Settings → Delete.

Are there any additional fees for editing or deleting an ad?

No, there are no additional fees for editing or deleting an ad.

How can I repost an expired ad?

Go to: My Account → My Listings → Select the ad → Repost Now.

What is the Auto-Repost feature?

This feature automatically re-uploads your ad once it expires, keeping the same ad details but resetting the date and view count. The cost is deducted from your balance.

  • To activate: My Account → My Listings → Select the ad → Edit → Enable Auto-Repost.

I can’t complete posting my ad, what’s the reason?

This usually happens when some required fields (marked with *) are not filled in.

What is an alternative number, and how can I add it?

An alternative number allows you to display another contact number instead of your main registered number. To add it:

  • Click on Account tab → My Listings.

  • Find your listing under the Active tab → click on your listing.

  • Click Edit (top right corner) → press Next on the Edit Ad page.

  • Click Next again on the Add Media page to go to Add More Information.

  • Add the alternative number under Listing Settings.

  • Press Next → click Update to confirm the change.

  • Click Hide Registered Number if you want to hide your main number.

  • If you want to show both numbers, repeat the same steps without hiding the main number.

What types of ads are prohibited on 4Sale?

All ads that violate religious values, the laws of the State of Kuwait, or the app’s publishing policy are strictly prohibited.

Are ads posted on 4Sale also published on Q8Car?

Yes, all ads in the Automotive category are automatically published on Q8Car.

I found an ad without a phone number, only a chat option. How can I get the phone number?

The “Hide Number” option is controlled by the ad owner. You can contact them directly via the chat feature attached to the ad. However, 4Sale’s management cannot disclose the phone number if the advertiser has chosen to hide it.

Ad Features

What does “Recently Viewed” mean?

It refers to the most recent ads that the user has viewed.

What does “Saved Search” mean?

This feature allows the user to specify the item or service they’re looking for if it’s not currently available. A notification will be sent once a matching ad is posted on the app.

What is the “Favorites” feature?

This feature allows the user to save their favorite ads for easy access later.

What does “Add Features to Your Ad” mean?

This is an optional feature that helps your ad appear more prominently, such as Pinning, Highlighting, or Search Pinning.

What is the Pinning feature?

It allows your ad to stay fixed at the top of the listings page for 24 hours.

How can I know the remaining time for pinning?

  • My Account → My Listings → Select the ad.

  • You will also receive an in-app notification when your pinning period is about to end.

How many ads can I pin in the same section?

You can pin more than one ad in the same section.

What is the Waiting List?

If the maximum number of pinned ads in a section is reached, your ad will be placed in a waiting list and will be pinned automatically once another ad’s pinning period expires.

Can I report an inappropriate ad directly from the app?

Yes, you can report it from the ad page by selecting the Report Abuse option.

Can I search for listings directly by typing?

Yes, you can search directly using the search bar at the top of the app.

What is “Most Searched”?

It’s a list that contains the most frequently searched keywords by users on the app.

What is “My New Services”?

It’s a newly added section that includes all the services offered by users, making it easier to access and browse them regularly.

What is “Booking Requests”?

It’s a new feature in the Contracting and Services categories that allows users to book an appointment with the service provider at a time they’re available. The request is sent to the service provider to confirm with the user.

How can I remove followers or prevent others from viewing my other ads?

  • My Account → Followers and Following.

  • Click on the settings icon at the top.

  • Turn off the option “Allow others to follow me”.

What languages does the app support?

The app supports both Arabic and English.

How can I change the app language?

4Sale supports iPhone devices running iOS 14 or higher and Android devices running version 7.1 or higher. The list of supported devices may be updated at any time.

Why aren’t the photos or videos uploading, and I’m getting an error message?

The issue often happens because the photo size exceeds the 50 MB limit. Quick fix: Send the photos via WhatsApp to anyone, then save them again, as the app automatically reduces the file size without affecting quality. For videos, make sure they don’t exceed 20 seconds. If the video meets this limit but still doesn’t upload, try the same method used for photos.
